Alive water "Svetavots"- a deposit of long life

Latvia is a land where nature gives to people a lot- beauty, balance and most important - health. That's why after anxious workday or week we want to be close to nature. One of the bounties of nature is spring water. Thirst appears during hot time as well as after physical activities. We drink much more in summer as we do it during other seasons and that is logical, because with exudation a large amount of liquid is lost. People have to know that water is first element of life and has to be drunk clean and fresh.

We would like to inform you about one of unique Latvia's miracles - Svetavots in Vidzeme - in Cesis at Cirulisi. Everybody knows how important water for human organism is. It is known that human being can survive without nutrition for some time, but without water life is endangered. Human's body consists of 90% water. A lot of people get sick because of lack of water in their organisms. Regular use of good water helps our organism to depurate from deleterious harmful substances at the same improving functions of organism. The origin and history of this "Svetavots" is ancient. Old descriptions in Latvia have appeared at about 1800 year. At that time the name of the spring was "Dzelzs varti" (metallic gates), but after some years, when the deeper research of water quality was done it was named - "Svetavots" - and it was based on healing qualities of water. At the time of Free Latvia sanatorium was built because this place was (and still is) with positive and spiritual aura as unique nature object medical spring "Svetavots" is close to rest house.

"Svetavots" comes from underworld depth into sanitary clean, large, natural white sand rock. It comes from 88 meter depth and spring fertility is 3 litters water per second. Above the spring is about 20 meters high rock made by nature, beneath what alive, clear spring rises. Of course Latvia is rich of many springs, but we don't take enough care of cleanliness of water. The main task of Svetavots is to keep the water clean. In order not to get any fertilizers or any other pollution into water, what could affect the quality of water, no private gardens are near and no fertilizers are used around "Svetavots", so all the sanitary and hygienic demands are kept up.

Scientifically and academical research has done to prove that if all ecological demands are kept up, natural, alive, clean spring water is most valuable for humans organism.

Water of Svetavots also has healing qualities and a lot of people got convinced, so they who have used it know the importance of water.

Svetavots are situated in a private territory near Cirulisi. It is guarded and all standards are followed. Spring lies in a beautiful slope of a park. There are perennial trees around spring growing, such as - pines, birches, maples, oaks, fir-trees and others. Squirrels live in the park. Some cleaning and beautifying of park is started.
